Most of us have had our 'Bridget Jones' moment, digging into the ice cream after a bad break up or simply treating ourselves, but it turns out that apart from it's yummy taste, Ben and Jerry's are a pretty awesome company too!
On Ben and Jerry's website, they state that an 'unshakeable belief' that all people deserve full and equal civil rights is core to their company's values. And this shows, especially as in 2009, they changed their 'Chubby Hubby' ice cream to 'Hubby Hubby' ice cream, to celebrate gay marriage in Vermont.
So next time you buy Ben and Jerry's, you can happily know that you're supporting a company that cares for and supports equality!
